Welcome to 2012 . This will be the fourth year for The Umbrella Network- something that we could never for see as a group of mums and dads who found the need to meet others in similar situations back in 2008. We have grown into a unique organisation that gathers all the information we can about what is available in our region. From Therapy Services and visiting workshops to support groups and playgroups. We aim to educate you on how to utilise the system to your best advantage and EMPOWER yourselves with knowledge. After all – YOU are the best advocate for your child.

We are NOT a service provider but a registered charity who are now lucky enough to now have some amazing staff and generous volunteers. There are enough service providers in our community already! We offer education, friendship and the chance to start turning your childs life into a positive and rewarding journey!

Whether you are a new mum and dad learning about how unique your child is – or a family who has embraced what your child can offer the world. Our Network is simply that – a way to meet others in similar situation and ‘network’ ideas and strategies. We don’t sit around talking about Disability – in fact we rarely use the word. We are a group of positive, proactive families who want to educate ourselves and our community – but most of all take some stress away and enjoy our children!
