Cootharinga Autism Service

Eligibility:

We see children aged 0-18 for therapy- occupational therapy and speech therapy.

Primarily we are an Autism Service however we have the skills to provide comprehensive assessment and therapy for any child with any diagnosis

Referrals:

We take referrals from anyone- families, GPs, other OTs/SPs, teachers, childcare, Autism Advisor. You can fax, email or phone.

Costs:

- If children have HWCA funding- no out of pocket expense .If children referred through Pediatrician or Psychiatrist: 20 partial funded through Medicare sessions.

- If children referred through GP: 5 partial funded therapy sessions through Medicare

- If no funding it is $300 for initial and report and $125 for an hour session and $62.50 or 30 minutes. We invoice at the end of each month so clients get one bill.

We have no waiting list- children usually get seen within a fortnight.
